TT WeGrow Hydro, recognizes the value of local farmers, producers and the need of the national community to have access to locally grown fresh produce and products. A place where you are able to buy all your favorite locally grown and produced goods that you would traditionally find at your local farmers markets in town. Our aim is to provide you with an easy and efficient online shopping experience with delivery to your doorstep.

One of our missions is to promote ecologically sound economic development in Trinidad and Tobago, particularly among family farmers and other local agricultural enterprises. The online marketplace gives growers, producers, and fishermen a venue where they can claim a fair price for their goods and services. It will allow a number of entrepreneurs to launch new businesses and provide opportunities for new farmers, cultivating the next generation of food producers and growing the food system. To provide a public market where consumers and producers come together over food — a powerful cultural common denominator in Trinidad and Tobago society — the WeGrowTT Market will promote good health among citizens, greater social interaction between communities and sustainable economic development.

 

We created this online ALL ACCESS farmers market with delivery, to give consumers more access to local food. Our technology and logistics innovations allow farmers, producers and contributors to list and sell their products online with the convenience of e-commerce and fulfill orders with our managed last-mile delivery network.

Our goal is also to rebuild the relationship people have with their food, and where it comes from. We’re here to connect the city with the countryside where food is grown and produced. TT WeGrow Hydro is here to help the producers across T&T so that they can serve as community assets while providing real income opportunities for farmers as they spend less time on the sales process, and more time on their passion.

 

We are passionate about promoting and elevating the local agro-food industry for economic development and export, and contributing to T&T’s food supply resilience and security, especially in these unpredictable times. Our platform will increase fresh food access to the community, contributing to health and well-being while driving business to the markets, because of course, eating well — is still what drives us!
